How to Make Your Bathroom a Cosy Haven

As we continue to make our way through the winter months, this is a great time to refresh your interiors and make them super cosy at the same time.

Making over your bathroom is a fantastic way to introduce some cosiness and banish that cold, clinical feeling that may be haunting your space. Here are ours and Decoist’s ideas:

Use earthy accents in your redesign for some much-needed warmth. Woods and dark stones are good for this, and you can opt for ‘effects’ over the real thing.

Either use earthy features as the statement look of your bathroom, such as the first example pictured, or use them as definition, such as framing mirrors or as counter tops.

Or take a leaf out of the second bathroom’s book and use natural textures, such as live plants for a touch of green freshness, or invest in a new sea sponge or loofah.

These are small items that are easy to switch around when you fancy a refresh, and bring a little bit of tropical paradise into your home.

Including soft textures in your design is simple and is a brilliant way of adding cosiness and luxury to your bathroom.

Buying some brand new fluffy towels is a quick and simple way to create a cosy atmosphere, while you could also cover any stools or standalone cupboards with a fluffy, furry, or tufted cover.
