A British Vintage Inspired Home…In California

Favreau Design has created a luxurious family home in California, boasting some gorgeous colours and a range of inspirations.  Atherton Estate has a touch of royalty about it, with gold, blue, and purple running through the scheme.  

The communal areas are relaxing with a hint of decadence, as seen in the vintage-style armchairs with their solid varnished legs and unique gold paisley pattern against the cornflower blue material.  

The background uses neutral hues that ensure the design never gets too fussy, and lets in plenty of light into the spacious rooms.

However, the bedrooms opt for stronger colours, with one room showcasing a modern hot pink/lime green scheme, and the other revelling in rich purples - giving the design a real shot of confidence. 

The copious wall art unifies each room and adds a contemporary touch to the Brit-vintage theme, while geometric furniture features, such as the stunning lounge lighting fixture, coffee table, and mirror, contribute another dimension to the design.
