TG Studio has created a luxurious interior design for a penthouse in one of the most distinctive residences in London: St Pancras Chambers.
This scheme uses subtle patterns with earthy hues to provide the west tower of this famous Grade 1 listed Gothic façade with a complementary interior that is modern and understated.
The exposed wooden beams add an eye-catching geometry, which is carried through the house by the use of glass balustrades, juxtaposing old construction with new interior techniques.
This is just part of the penthouse’s neutral background, with the walls and furniture predominantly featuring in natural wood and stone-inspired colours throughout the design. The no-fuss colour scheme means that pattern and texture can come to the forefront, with each room boasting different subtly patterned walls, providing a unifying, but diverse, theme.
Brightly coloured art dots the home, giving it that bold, contemporary touch to update the otherwise fairly classical design.
The designers had to carefully consider their transformation of the penthouse, as the floor plan had to be maintained, but the generous space still gave them plenty to play with.
